Before I actually say how much I loved this 4 parter, I have to tell you that not only I am I impressed as per usual at how well the characters are in character, it's how you've really been able to make them a modern AU and still enchanting to read.

The tie in's with the books are WONDERFUL. Everything about it screams the characters in a muggle setting, but I think I was actually most impressed with the idea of how the Potter's past away in your version and that it was Remus who got him out of jail.

Truly awesome!

Secondly, I will tell you again and again, but your characterisation of the relationships in your stories always feel very real even though I'm sure they were very well thought out. I'm madly in love with your dialogue, just as much as anything else.

So what I'm trying to say is I love your work, and I'd love to see how the rest of this story would pan out even if it's just in short drabbles.

*hugs!*

I'm so glad you liked it! This drove me crazy with worry over how people would feel about it... Thank you for reading, dear. <3

I'll see what I can do about continuing in drabbles. Maybe some artist I know could give me a prompt...? ;D

*hugs back!*

You really had nothing to worry about. I actually realized as well finally finishing Storm Front of the Dresden Files that you're heavily inspired by Jim Butcher (Dude, Murphy Tonks Martial Arts connection FTW =D) which is always good thing!

And I'd love to prompt you, actually my boyfriend drew this before he got to read the fic (I forced him too, because I actually went on about this fic all day) and he really enjoyed it so we thought you should have it even if it's only a small tribute to the story : http://s562.photobucket.com/albums/ss65/solochan/remustonksdoodle.jpg

I really am, and in this case it wasn't as accidental as usual (thirteen books and that influence kind of sinks in, you know!) I'm a huge fan of his style. And (I think I was talking about this in another comment) Murphy and Tonks have always seemed very similar to me so I thought I'd run with that and see where it went.

AHHHHH! That is absolutely awesome, there are no words for how excited I am. I hope you don't mind if I link to that when I repost these at my own journal! Thank you so much, and thank you, solochan's Boyfriend! ♥

This is fantastic! I'm not normally one for AUs that take the charcaters completely out of their setting but this was fabulous, the charcaterisations were perfect, this is exactly who'd they'd be if they weren't magical! And I liekd the little nods to canon with the muggle version of what happened to the Potters, Remus'illness and I love the idea of Molly's Coffee Shop :)

All the little accidental meetings were verfy cute and I liked how each one built up a little more of a picture of each character. Little touches like Sirius phoning Tonks with the poll question, Molly sending Remus off with a bag of pastries, all just added to a well-thought out non-magical; version. I loved it :)

Thank you! You can probably understand how nervous I was, transposing it all to Muggle and trying to get it down right, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

*happy sigh* Very, very satisfying ending to such a fun read. That whole scene in the kitchen just had me grinning -- perfect for Tonks to up and kiss him, perfect for both of them to tweak Sirius and make him think they'd just met. Although I'm also glad he was about to figure it out. ;)

I really like the translation of the backstory with James and Lily -- a DD is a really good Muggle analog for a Secret Keeper, and this Peter is appropriately slimy and horrid for killing James and Lily and framing Sirius for it.

This has been a fun, funny, happy, insightful read!

That backstory gave me nine kinds of problems, but if you liked it, that means I must've done something right. :) Thank you! ♥

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! as people are mentioning, spectacular tie ins. i couldn't wait to see what you'd come up with next for each one and was going "ooh!" and "ahh!" when they all appeared. i love that you have the Blacks down to a tee, and it's interesting to see those traits outside of the pureblood stuff. and man that Remus is delicious. LOVE Tonks immediately kissing him. and tasting of Moet and ReddiWhip.

As I've been saying, I could read heaps more of this with pleasure. I hope you'll consider extending!

It is such a relief to know you enjoyed reading this, and that I didn't screw up completely. ;D

I was thinking about doing a few drabbles in this universe, as I was hinted at by my dear solochan, so keep an eye out for those. Thank you for reading! ♥

Please please do! I will devour them!

Also, I LJ stalked you a little bit and read all your R/T fic because it's bloody excellent!!!! Do you have more posted anywhere else? Like ff.net?

Also, I hope you're a writer in RL, because you're fantastic at it. I'd buy your book!

LOL, stalk away, I don't mind. Or add me to your flist if you want, that would be perfectly alright by me. :D

There are some other fics posted on ff.net here, but there's not much more there, I've been slacking lately.

Not quite an RL writer. My brother and I are in a race to see who finishes their novel first and he's winning (as I haven't really started yet). XD

Wow! What's not to say that's not over the top gushing.
Truly original. Perfect use of AU. Everyone is in character.
(And JKR said that she wrote werewolf as a metaphor for the ill.)

(I'm just trying to wrap my head around how Tonks and Remus are going to motorcycle ride off into the sunset in her skirt and high heels :-)

And of course, Hermione will meet Ron and Ginny will meet Harry through the Happy Couple.

Thank you so much for writing and posting this. I really really enjoyed it.

I thought I'd heard or read something about that before, and was pretty sure but couldn't remember. Glad it turned out, though!

Can be done, but it's a little difficult. And cold. Not something you want to do more than once, or right before a concert band dress rehearsal, lol.

Thank you for reading! I'm really glad you enjoyed it and thank you so much for your review. :)
