The last line made me wibble. For some reason it reminds me of the 'Something There' song from Beauty and the Beast. Don't ask me why, but the sudden need for each other in the snow out of nowhere and the kiss.

It's just so awesome I love it!

Ooh, it's very nice to hear this had a wibbling effect on you! I rather liked the idea of this just apparently coming out of nowhere for them both, only it hadn't really done any such thing of course.

Aww this is lovely. I love the switches in POV that show just how each is feeling and they build up what could be just a short moment into one with tension and a lot of emotion.

The line about her touching him because others don't is just perfect because it says so much about her personality and the way Remus is treated by others (even those like The Order who should know better). And then there's the line about him being easy-going and pleasant and not saying what's inside. I think you've summed both of them up in just a couple of lines which is brilliant.

And the last line is just like *sighs* A lovely moment :)

Thank you for the lovely comments! I've thought before how very much simply being touched would mean to someone like Remus, and that Tonks is exactly the sort of person who would hate to see that sort of nonsense going on by others and possibly strive, in the beginning at least,to over-compensate, lol. But then I think it speaks volumes for her sensitivity that she notices, hates it, and does something about it. And the Remus of POA and OotP is so pleasant and easy-going that it's such a shock when we see him have an outburst in DH - he must have bottled things up for so long.
