Tonks Apparated into the small kitchen, clutching many shopping bags to her chest.
Remus walked towards her, having heard her entrance. "Hello, Dor-"
"Here." Tonks thrust all of her bags at Remus. "Need the loo." She hurried away, yelling over her shoulder, "I wish the sprog would stay off my bladder!"
Remus chuckled, as he placed the bags on the table and began putting things away. He finished one bag, started on the next, and then stopped suddenly as he picked up a strange item. What in the world? Maybe it was for the baby? He walked towards the bathroom, puzzled, and asked through the door, "Dora, why did you buy a dog's chew toy?"
"What?!" Tonks questioned through the bathroom door.
"Why did you buy a chew toy?"
"I didn't buy a chew toy! What are you talking about?!" The door opened, and Tonks emerged, examining the object in Remus' hand. "Oh, that's for you."
Remus just stared at Tonks. "You bought me a chew toy? Is that supposed to be funny?"
"What?" Tonks looked confused, but as realization dawned, she became horrified. "Oh, Remus! No! You don't understand. I didn't know it was a chew toy."
"It says right here 'A Fine Chew Toy.' There's even a picture of a dog." Remus frowned.
Tonks started to sniffle. "I didn't read the label. I just saw it, and thought it was cute. You squeeze the snowman's tummy and he says, 'Let it snow!' Since we don't have snow, and couldn't really be out in it much even if we did, I thought I'd get us something snowy to have indoors . . ." Her breath hitched.
"Don't start crying, love. I'm sorry I was being overly sensitive." He hugged her, and she rested her head on his chest, gave one last sniff, and sighed.
"That's OK. It is almost your time of the month, Remus." Tonks looked up at him and winked.
Remus chuckled and squeezed the snowman's tummy, listening as it chirped 'Let it snow!' "You're right. It is cute."
Tonks smiled. "So are you." She kissed him quickly, grabbed the front of his robes, and said, "Come here, and I'll show you just how cute I think you are . . ."

"Molly, would you like for me to go get Bill and Fleur and bring them here?"
"Careful Remus," Fred warned, "you don't know what you might interrupt."
"Fred!" Molly chastised.
Remus winked, "Oh, I think I have a pretty good idea, actually."
Tonks, Fred, and almost everyone else laughed while Molly half-heartedly scolded, "Remus! Don't encourage him!"
"Yes, Remus. As my son-in-law, you really should be setting a better example." Andromeda rolled her eyes at him.
Remus smirked, "I do my best."
George glanced out the window into the garden. "Look, everyone! It's snowing! We'll have a white Christmas after all."
"We'll have a family snowball fight in the morning!" Fred gestured to Tonks, Remus, and Andromeda. "That includes you lot, of course."
Andromeda inclined her head. "Thank you, Fred. That's very kind of you."
Tonks started to sniffle. "Dad's out in this somewhere. I hope he's warm enough."
As everyone became quiet, Ginny hugged Tonks. "I hope Harry, Ron, and Hermione are warm enough, too."
Everyone finished settling themselves into their chairs as Arthur poured the wine. "A toast. May our absent loved ones be warm, safe and return to us quickly."
"Here, Here." Everyone chimed in as they clinked glasses, took sips, and watched the snow fall softly.
