Posting for the Summer Hallows Jumble is now closed. It's been wonderful to see such memorable art and fic entries added to the R/T archive, and we hope the deadline makers of last night and this morning are now going to get some sleep! As you're catching up on your reading, please do take a moment to leave the author or artist a few words. So ( Read more... )

DD: aaah, I thought the deadline was ~tomorrow~. CURSE MY BAD MEMORY.

Mine will be done within the next day or so. :)

Oh, no! :( If you let us have the link and details of it when you're done, we'll post them here so everyone has a chance to read it.

Mine's nearly finished--a separated shoulder kept me from finishing on time! (Do you realise how much longer it takes to type with one hand? I do now!) Hopefully, within the week (maybe two, depending on the pain involved ;) ), I'll be done...

Ouch! :( You deserve extra brownie points for typing through the pain (this is when magical remedies would come in very handy?;)) and we'll be looking forward to the end result. Hope you feel better soon!

Damn this August being such a crappy month. I had so many good ideas but only just got around to writing them. I'll IM the link to you when they're posted. :/

Didn't August just seem to fly by in no time as well? Hope September lets up on you, and yes, we'd love to have the link when you're done! :)

I would have loved to have a completed, or even a work in progress, but quite frankly the prompts I was given totally confused me. I could not think of a single thing to draw concerning Tonks, Lupin, a house elf or the incantation that fit within the confines of canon. If outside the confines of canon it would have required an accompanying story to make it make sense. Perhaps art (or at least my non-comic book style) doesn't adapt well to this sort of 'challenge'.

I'm sorry they didn't inspire any ideas, especially as we all enjoyed your art so much last time around. People do sometimes brainstorm with their LJ f-list for ideas if they are stuck and that often works, but the luck of the random draw can make the prompts tricky if you end up with what you're definitely not hoping for! Perhaps you could have done something with Kreacher as the house-elf, observing an R/T moment at Grimmauld, as I see you had romance as a genre prompt.

I hope it won't put you off for future events. :)

Not at all! I hope you don't think badly of me. It turned out to be a crazy, busy time for me, so that probably squelched the creativity.

Oh no, not at all. Sometimes, I find it much easier to think of things for someone else's prompts than my own, and then with others I'm simply very thankful I didn't get them!
