I love this point of view, and the small glimpse of Remus' face that told Andromeda that he would never hurt Tonks...very nicely done!

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for the comment. I'm glad you liked the point of view; I like experimenting with other characters' opinions about the R/T relationship.

This is lovely! I particularly love how you compare Remus's expressions with Ted's, as I always saw that the Tonks family would of had the money struggle in the beginning aswell <3

Lovely piece of work. R/T stalking is good for the soul I think!

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for the comment. I'm glad you liked it. I agree that Ted and Andromeda probably suffered financially at the beginning.

What a great POV. I especially liked the bit where Remus goes back to look at the robes that Andromeda likes too. I really enjoyed this!

I love stories that explore Andromeda's view of her daughter's relationship with Remus, and this is a great idea -- to have her observing them when she hasn't met Remus yet and they don't know she's there. The combination of shrewd observation and a hint of sympathy, plus the way she is reminded of her own beginnings with Ted, feel just right for her. And I really like the details you've chosen to have her notice and draw her conclusions from.

Poor Remus, wanting to give Tonks something he can't afford -- and good for Andromeda, for understanding what he's thinking!

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for the comment. I'm glad the POV worked for you. The first image that popped into my head for this story was that of someone watching them from across the street, but it took me a while to decide who was observing them.

It's a pleasure to read such a positive view of Remus in Andromeda's eyes, especially the way she sees he's naturally kind and good for her daughter. It was a great way to show both Remus and Tonks's strengths and weaknesses, and I agree that the moment Remus realises he can't afford to buy those sapphire robes for Tonks is especially poignant.

And now I'm desperate to know why he has that pretty purse, lol.

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for the comment. I'm glad you liked this Andromeda. We know so little about her that I think a number of different reactions to Remus are plausible for her.
