OK, I will try to be coherent and not just write AMAZING over and over again even though that's what I'm thinking. I loved everything about this, from the cosy festiveness at the beginning (I liked the little mention of other characters, like Angelina, Kinglsey and Victoire) to the drama in the middle, especially Remus's speech, which was perfectly written and so clever. It was incredibly engaging, I really was thrilled when Teddy turned up and he and Remus sorted Bartolph out. Miranda is a really beautiful name. I adore Shakespeare so it makes me very happy to think the Lupins would too.
Really really excellent submission, as per usual, it seems!

Ooh, I feel all warm and happy. Thank you!

Remus' mirror in Bartolph was very interesting- the situation is alike in many ways, and yet, the choices are what defines the way they'll live. Fantastic. It's nice to see Remus finally settling comfortably in.

And Miranda is very pretty name. Good choice!

I've always liked the name Miranda and it worked both aesthetically and in meaning so I'm glad it went down well. :) Glad it made you happy! :)

To be honest, the mirroring of their situation was something that came to me in the writing - the strange new world line popped into my head when I was trying to think of a title after I realised I'd used the one I'd planned already and the rest just ran from there. :)

I love it! IloveitIloveitIlovit! While reading it, I was debating with myself in the back of my head whether this story ought to make me love you more (because I always thought your stories were fabulous, back in my lurker days) or loath you entirely for your apparantly magical ability to write an adorable and exciting story that not only fits beautifully into your story arc, but also manages to make use of both prompts. But in the end the word "Hootenanny" (not to mention "suitably manly embrace") won you about a million brownie points, so I've decided that I still think you're great. :D

I think the word Hootenanny is grossly underused. ;p And the alliteration of that section was irrestable. :)

Glad you still like me! :)

May I just say ::guh!:: Just lovely. As far as I'm concerned Portalverse IS canon! Thank you so much for another wonderful entry! I waited a bit to read it because I wanted to be able to devote the proper respect it deserved!

Thanks! I know it's a bit of a monster compared to the drabbles so I'm grateful for everyone who's made the effort to haul through it! :)

And it IS canon. JKR knows nothing...;p
