That was really cute and sweet :) This isn't AU to me, they really did live long enough to celebrate their 30th anniversary and cuddle their Grandson (how cute!) Really lovely :) And aww I got a little teary at the end with them so lovey-dovey, the presents were perfect :)

Oh and friending because I never turn down R/T friends :)

That's pretty much how I feel! I almost forgot to put 'AU' in the summary, actually. I'm happy you liked their grandson, he was a lot of fun to write. I hoped the ending would be touching, too, so thank you very much for your reaction, and for commenting!

*sniff* This is so beautiful and happy, but it also makes me want to cry... because I want this so much to be real, to be canon, and I know it's not. But I don't care because it's the most wonderful dream. Putting it in my memories.

I know, I wish they'd lived in canon too, they deserved it! But that's what AU if for, so I'm glad you're not caring. It's a real compliement that you liked it so much, and that it's in your memories, because I've never been in anyone's memories befo fore. Thank you very much!

Awww... This was just lovely. I really enjoy such AU post-war fics about the happily-ever-after lives that they should have had. Thanks for this bit of cheerful fluff. :-)
