Wow. The swapping POV's worked so well to illustrate their growing relationship while giving just a glimpse of what was happening in the rest of the world. Kind of a reverse of what JKR did, eh? ;)

Beautiful job. I'm going to read it again. Right now.

Thank you. :D I'm glad you felt the swapping POVs worked -- when I started writing in that style, I had no idea it would turn out this long, so I did wonder whether it would be a bit annoying for the reader to keep switching so often. I'm sure it was a contributing factor to me not posting at one minute to midnight on the night of the deadline, though, as the minute I stopped tying, not knowing what to say next, I knew it meant enough had been said and it was time to move on, lol.

Thank you again for your kind words. I'm so pleased you liked it. :)

Oh the Angt! I love it! I really like the treatment of Remus's perceptions of Tonks here. He thinks she is unsure and needs his help, but not in the way he imagined. I like that she is confident in all of her actions, except those with him! Although I wish she would have smacked him upside the head a bit sooner ;) Thanks so much for posting!

Oh, a PS I guess...I really liked that Sirius is unsure of how to deal with her either! She's family, but he doesn't really know her and she's a girl. Men can really be clueless about stuff like that!

I didn't realise I should probably have tagged it 'angst' until I read your comment, but it prompted me to go back and remedy that. Me writing angst - how about that? LOL. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed this, especially Sirius' moment in the limelight - I hoped it wouldn't be a random scene in the midst of everything else.

Thanks for your lovely comments -- as always, it is very much appreciated. :)

Oh, wow.

This was delicious. So angsty, and yet with a happy ending. This is such a different take on the two of them to what we're used to reading, and it really works. And the result is a refreshingly original read.

I really liked the time jump towards the end; it was very effective, not what I was expecting and left me wondering about all that had happened in between.

Brilliant!

Thank you, Katy!

I've had a bit of an R/T block for a while, and I had to had a good hard think about how to approach this without falling upon the stumbling block I have with other fics I've attempted since the last I posted here. Which is to say that I'm thrilled you think that it is a 'different take' because I did set out to write something that would challenge and not be like anything I'd done before.

Also really chuffed to know that you like the time jump. I finished the last scene before the jump at midnight the night before I went a way and was thinking that there was no way I'd finish it before we left, but then the idea of twinning it with the scene a year later struck and I ended up finishing an hour and half later. There are, of course, events that occurred in between, but I hope that enough is hinted at to give the reader enough of and idea and leave them feeling that the important stuff is covered.

I'm rambling. Thank you very much for your kind comments. :D
