This is a cute story! Poor Remus, getting himself into a scrape worthy of a Marauder, heh. I especially like the part about the gifts, with Remus seeing each item and thinking about why Tonks is giving it to him.

My favorite line: “Oh, you won’t fall love, it’s why you’re doing it instead of me.” Hee hee.

Firstly, a belated Happy Birthday for yesterday! I hope you had a great day.:D

I think you captured Remus very well here, especially the humour of his thoughts and the slight obliviousness with it - I enjoyed him wondering why everyone kept buying him clothes and books, lol. And seeing him get distracted by Tonks and paying for his 'sins' was a lot of fun. I can't believe she made him wait that long though... ;)

LOL, this is adorable and funny and has a clever concept. It hits home with me- my boyfriend puts up Christmas Lights for people every year as a side job, and he's told me stories about falling off ladders, since he does it the Muggle way, lols.
