That was excellent. I think the watch was a great idea, so sweet, and the Exploding Snap cards was so cute. The conversation with Sirius and Remus was great. I love fics with him helping things along, he's such a great matchmaker. :)

Nice job and welcome to LJ!

Thanks! Yeah, I like Sirius as a matchmaker too :)
I was a bit worried that the watch would overshadow the card game theme, but it appears to be a hit so far!

This was excellent! I absolutely loved your Sirius, I was laughing at all of it, and it was so nice to see him being all like "Next!" about Remus's issues. Tonks's present was really lovely, and I think Remus managed to give Tonks everything she wanted, somehow. ;) Altogether, awesome fic, thank you for writing it!

PS. If you want to be LJ Friends, I'll Friend you!

Thank you so much!

I really enjoyed writing the bit with Sirius in, it just sort of all came together at that point.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for wanting to be friends with me! :)

This is great! Funny, sweet and touching all wrapped up. Loved the sentiment of her finding his coming of age watch, and her loving of his gift of cards to her, as it came from the heart.

Sirius was amazing in this. Fleshing him out and giving him character is sometimes difficult and you did an amazing job!

Congrats!

Thank you!

I've always liked Sirius, so I really tried to do him justice. He actually came surprisingly easy for me; it was actually Tonks who caused me the most problems!

Thanks again! I'm glad you liked it :)

This was great, starting with the title! Very well chosen. :)
Sirius' wisdom and attitude were cool. Remus' jitters and worries were just "him". Tonk's clumsy moments were perfectly timed. The ending was very sweet, I loved that part.

Thanks!

The title was originally going to be the summary, but then I changed my mind. It seemed to fit better that way.

I'm really glad you liked it!

This was really sweet and fun :) I really sympathise with Remus at his loss of book haven in the beginning, and the difficulty with pressie buying. And I love Tonks' reaction to her gift, and also the cards themselves. People really should ask for Sirius' advice more often ;)

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Remus' feeling of despair mirrored my own when I went Christmas shopping this year and found Waterstones surprisingly packed. Even the Sci-fi and Fantasy corner was overpopulated!

By the way, is it alright if I friend you?

Lol, it is scary isn't it? I couldn't even find anywhere unpacked enough to buy actual food :/

Er, sure you can friend me if you like, can't promise I'll be very interesting, though ;)
