Yay, thank you! ^^

It seems like one of Remus's biggest problems is that he seems himself like this parasite destroying everybody else's lives... when in fact he is enriching them a great deal. XD

Thanks very much! :)

I have so much to comment on, but I'll make them brief!

ice cream tended to function like emotional glue when you’d managed to break yourself.
That was just so true I had to mention that I loved it.

three pints of chocolate fudge ripple (she always added “of doom” in her head; it just sounded right)
I think that you have captured the personalities of most of my friends in that sentence. XD

(“But perfectly safe!” “…we think…”)
Congrats; you can write the Weasley twins!

(In compliance to the previous)Diagon Alley next
I thought that the twins' shop was in Diagon Alley?

“So,” she said. “How’s about them Cannons?”
“I believe they’re tanking,” he replied.
That had me in stitches, because my friend says that whenever there's a quiet spell at the lunch table. XD

If only you could extract it with tongs (which was a bit like Tonks; clearly, it was destiny)
That was just effing hilarious!

You’ve reached Remus Lupin, miserable, fading, pathetic man that he is, and if you’re inexplicably feeling inclined to leave this wreckage a message, ( ... )

Hee Inside your Tonks' head is a very dizzyingly amusing place to visit! Her stream of conscious is as much fun as her clothes.

Have to agree that the description of Remus' greyness and his fear of it swallowing up her color is really apt. Great job with that!

There were more than a few places when I wondered if I'd surpassed my allotted limit of parenthetical bits and pieces. XD At the same time, I kind of wanted her thoughts to be just as crazily colorful as the outside, so I guess it kind of worked! XD

It seems like that's Remus's problem at the most basic level -- he doesn't want to drag Tonks down.

Of course, he's a silly, but that's another problem entirely. XD

I keep meaning to go back and do things in that nice place, and this time it actually happened, all at once, and before I knew what was going on. XD

I think Tonks and Remus are two of the most understandable characters Rowling came up with in some ways. They're just... real-person-y. XD I'd forgotten how much I liked the pairing, too, to tell the truth! :X

Heeee, as soon as I had an image of him sitting behind the counter, I knew the fic was actually going to happen. XD It's the Power of Near at work. 8D Besides, I couldn't be expected to make a complete departure from DN, now, could I...? XD

Hee. :P Yeah, that line about Tonks signing her real name on the list for whatever it was (.../forgets own fic) was... not particularly coincidental. XD

The pun lover in me is thrilled! Your use of colour and descriptors was excellent throughout the entire piece.
Great fic :)

Hee hee, I had thought of the line before I realized that it was a pun at all -- and then of course I was attached to it. XD

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! ^^
