The jumble gods are determined to have me write romance, aren't they? I light incense and offer up chicken legs to get a good angst assignment, and not only do I NOT get that, but I get "romantic comedy" during a "day of romance."

Maybe the jumble gods don't like chicken...

Yeah, maybe you're right. But what kind of tofu would jumble gods be most responsive to - extra firm or silken?

I totally got one of the only two prompt jumbles I did not want. Mystery/Suspense is big and scary and I am totally not ready for that. I suppose I will just incorporate 3 of the 4.

Ok, enough of the mopey. YAY! 'Nother round of ficcy goodness.

I was afraid of the Mystery/Suspense, and lookee, I got it AGAIN! Seriously, don't be afraid of the mystery/suspense. Mine (The Gathering) ended up being very *vaguely* mystery-ish, simply because I tried not to give away at the beginning why the Order was gathered, and why Tonks needed those flowers. Give it a shot and see what happens! You can always change your mind later. :D

Can't you just see Fred and George chasing a skrewt around the pitch, trying to get it to blast in the right place to light their fireworks? Remus and Tonks would be in the stands, holding the twins' wands for safe-keeping and directing the skrewts by remote control... ;)

Oh man.

You know, when I read the prompts yesterday, I laughed so hard at that one in particular. But try not to *headdesk* too much - it's always possible to twist these things round. And day of competition could be used a LOT of different ways... ;)

Okay...this round I will get my assignment in and hopefully the one from the last time too. I am off for a week, thank goodness. I will have the time to crank something out.
