The stream of slightly-questionable water pounding at the area of his collarbones faltered momentarily, then suddenly went from hot-enough-to-steam to cold-enough-to-kill.

By some feat of humanity - or lycanthropy, really, if you wanted to be dreadfully specific - Remus managed to refrain from screaming at the top of his lungs.

*giggles* oh poor Remus. I hate when that happens. Thank goodness he's manly enough to stop from screaming ;)

“Getting hung from a showerhead with your own intestines isn’t going to be dashing, Mr Black,” Remus replied, disdainfully at best.

LOL I think katyhasclogs summed it up best with the word bonkers -- but all in the good way, of course. You had far too many real LOL lines in this. From all Remus' threats against Sirius for using up the hot water, to Kingsley's deadpanned "You're ugly," which really was the best line in the whole thing (except that Sirius' hurt reaction and the ensuing banter might have been even better), and then Severus and Dru and their pep and circumstance, and finally Tonks did seem like a soda pop kind of person. Life was fizzier and more colorful that way. Just too much made me laugh! You have a perfect narrative voice for humor.

Loved the little chat between Remus and Tonks, which was somehow incredibly sweet, too, with that little plaintive note about imaginary relationships hurting less. Just the sort of empathetic relationship I imagine them to have beneath the light-hearted flirtation and joking.

Well done! Thanks for a real laugh!

I'm glad the Remus-Tonks conversation bits came across right. I kinda wanted to convey this kind of underlying kinship that they've forged sort of in spite of themselves before much in the way of romance enters the equation at all.
