“Nudge over,” she demanded as she sat next to him and curled her legs up over his. Obligingly, he put his arms around her and cradled her in his lap. - this is a lovely little moment because it shows how comfortable they have become in each other's company. :)
And a great ending!

Yeah, I can see him being sensitive about it in early adolescence, around his first two years at Hogwarts (probably due to some idiotic remarks) but he would definitely get over it thanks to his supportive family and his own inner strength. :)

The adults are still on eggshells about Remus's furry little problem. A thoroughly angsty individual would not give all of that up, even if he did change the way he handled it.
Harry is close to them
They live with Andromeda (?) or are at least very close. Because, really, why on Earth would they have ever done anything else? (personally, I think closeness with extended family is a sign of the good emotional health of the family members)
Several years and two kids later they are still so in lurve and want to sex each other up!
*squee!*

I'm also glad you think it works well with the prompt, since my first reaction upon seeing them was "oh, dear."

This is so, so sweet, and I really love this happy family scene, complete with Andromeda, Harry, Ginny, and James, and Remus' and Tonks' little ones. As gilpin25 said, this is The Way Things Are, not AU. ;) You dealt sweetly and realistically with The Werewolf Thing through Teddy's gift -- I liked that little moment of Remus and Tonks both being a bit wrong-footed and not quite pleased by the fact that Remus' moon issues are such an ingrained part of life for their little boy, and yet it's also neat how Remus is healed enough to be touched by it, as well, and to feel the unquestioning acceptance of his son. It's just what he needs.
I really liked this, thanks so much for writing happy R/T + Teddy fic for us!

You're welcome!
Sometimes I don't know on whose behalf I'm more ticked at JKR - Remus or Andromeda. I much prefer the idea of them both having a chance at a happy life with family all around.
