Oh what a lovely fic! I love denial, but I like how it wasn't all happy but very drama filled! I also love how Remus kept calling Teddy "Little Fellow" it's very Remus like thing to do, also the chocolate flavored pacifier was just genius.

Great use of the prompt, very, very well done.

You have written dialogue that is very real. The "I'm a terrible mother" thing is in the funny-except-when-it's-not category. I actually think I've had a few of these conversations before... hmmm. My fave: Remus remained quiet, suspecting that this was one of those occasions when talking too much would make things worse.

The Matt Groening humor = ROTFLMAO

And then there was this:

You did the right thing. And you fought your way through it. You’re still here. And you’ll never leave him again. I know that. You know that. So you need to let it go. For Teddy. For me. And for yourself.

AAAUUUGH! WHY why why? *sob*

Thanks for the denial!fic. *sniff* I heart when Remus has healing moments with Teddy and Tonks.

I write from experience. ;)

And I couldn't resist the Groening humor--it was such a perfect fit!

Thanks for the denial!fic. *sniff* I heart when Remus has healing moments with Teddy and Tonks.

You're welcome.

I love good R/T denial-fic. Purging the ministry of the remains of Voldemort's regime was just as satisfying to me as it was to the members of the Order. The final R/T conversation was also satifying as the end to one phase of their lives and the start of something new. Well done!

Thanks. It was very cathartic to write this, and tie up the loose ends JKR left us with.

This was a great denial fic - Tonks' feelings of maternal love and abandonment issues were heartwarming, as was Andromeda's revenge.

I also love that we had an appearance of 'Marauder Remus' - changing the names and information on the werewolf registry instead of getting rid of it completely was wonderful!
Very well done!

Thanks! I always enjoy making liberal use of Marauder Remus. He's far too much fun to play with. :)

I thought you had quite tricky prompts compared to some, but this is such a great idea. I really enjoyed how you've used 'cleanse' with the Ministry itself being literally cleaned-up, and Remus and Tonks facing a few personal demons of the past and coming to terms with them. I loved Marauder!Remus getting a well-deserved outing in the Werewolf Registry (and how impressed Teddy was with him;)), and the description of Tonks' cubicle and her sweet little message to Voldie. The humour there worked really well against the sadness of the anguish and grief Tonks, Andromeda and others were battling.

It's interesting how humor and sorrow often work so well together, isn't it?

the description of life and emotions immediately after the battle seems so apt. I actually forgot it was a denial fic because it seemed exactly like the kind of event that could and should happen.

Thank you so much! I think this fic was my long-delayed catharsis after my disappointment in the ending of DH. I've finally moved on!

I'm happy you liked it. :)
