I don't know what I like most:
-the line, "Santa attempted to walk further into the kitchen but had only taken two steps before somehow getting tangled in the sack he was holding and crashing to the floor.

Sirius snorted. “Oh. It's just Tonks.” (Because me=serious Sirius fangirl)

-Sirius and his Furby

Oh well, I liked all of it, and it was a great way to incorporate the most basic of muggle toys, and make them seem so fascinating to the wizards.

This was a great first fic, and I hope to see a second, third, fourth, and so on fic from you.

Yay glad you liked it. I'm a serious (lol never get tired of bad serious/Sirius puns) Sirius fangirl too! When he fell through the veil I thought for ages that he was going to come back because JKR could never do that to all the Sirius fans.

I always loved all the bits in the books where Arthur is fascinated by the simplest thing, like matches, which we just take for granted so I had lots of fun writing that.

I'm hoping to write a second, third, fourth, and so on because I really enjoyed doing this one. Thanks for commenting!

oh the end is gorgeous! The presents seem to be exactly the kind of things Tonks would have bought in order to delighten them.

Too Fun!!!

I am torn between the mental image of Remus onstage, looking a little too Mr. Rodgers-ish, quoting King Lear to a rap beat, AND watching Sirius try to somehow put the Furby into his mother's portrait, as some kind of poetic holiday justice.

And your Kingsley's reaction to the rapper was spot on...much like my own...to the baggy pants/belt dilemma.

Haha the Furby and his mother's portrait do seem similarly annoying now that you mention it. I think Sirius is more likely to just take a hammer to the thing. That's what I almost did with mine.

Yeah, Kingsley's reaction is basically how I feel about the low pants/tight belt thing.

I have a sudden urge to get a beat and start reciting Shakespeare over it.
