Ohh dear, so sweet!!! I like the ending a lot (a LOT), but I think my favourite part is: Thoughtfully, Dora looked into the fire. ”Maybe I should send Father Christmas a thank-you-note instead of a wish list.” ”I’d sign that one…but it doesn’t give me any indications as to what I should get for Christmas.”
Thank you for sharing this - I really enjoyed it a lot!
Oh the ending MOST definitely does work! LOL those two... well at least in our RP, you can't keep them really away from each other unless something's truly wrong ;)
The rest - it works. It weaves between the romantic and prosaically domestic very smoothly, and I think that does make sense.
That was totally sweet and heart warming. I just love this whole idea! Great job.
Dora laughed. “He said he wants to have a sister because Ron says he has one, and so he now wants one, too.” I asked for a little sister when I was younger, instead I got a brother. I still haven't forgiven Santa...or my parents. ;)
Well, I have one sister, but I always wanted many more siblings (four at the least), and never got them. But the sister I have is lovely, so that's okay :-)
Thanks! It's good to hear I make people feel good with my writing. (About the sister, I have a feeling that with the amount of AUs I write/draw currently, at some point she'll appear there, too :-D)

It's good to know that the ending (and at least some other parts) work, because I wasn't so sure about it...

And I'm sure he'd appreciate the thank-you-card :-)
