WELLL. I was an hour and a half late to work today. The person I was supposed to open with was late too, and he called me right when he got in. Oops. Stupid 4:30 am shifts

I was going to do a terribly cheesy fake review like "Hey guys, have you heard Stars? They're so good! They've got HEART! They certainly won't make you want to SET YOURSELF ON FIRE. They've got a lasting sound. In fact, I'd be happy to listen to them with someone IN OUR BEDROOM AFTER THE WAR, and we all know that'll be a while from now." With the links to those albums, obviously.. but I couldn't get it to actually sound funny haha.
yesss stars. your ex-lover is dead (final fantasy remix) is hella good.
stars(mellowed)=the weepies... that's my favorite band ever, check them outtt. also i think you'd like feist. i'm not sure why i think that, i just do.
I have not heard that remix, haha. You should send it to me :x
The Weepies.. I will indeed check them out. Thanks for the recommendation!
As for Feist, yeah I have all her stuff and I've listened to it, but it hasn't clicked with me yet. I'm sure it will in time. I usually get into music I have like, a year after I get it, because I become obsessed with bands and listen only to them for long amounts of time. Oops.
seriously the weepies are amazing. my favorite songs are world spins madly on, citywide rodeo, riga girls and nobody knows me at all. their lyrics make me want to cry sometimes because they're so good. like this: "What can I compare you to? A window the sun shines through? Maybe the silver moon, A smile rising. The magic of the fading day, Satellites on parade, A toast to the plans we've made To live like kings."
and feist, not gonna lie i haven't listened to all of it because i can't get past 1234 (damn ipod commercials) and moon my man. haha, but i REALLY like those songs.

I was obsessing over one Feist song for a while - her cover of the Bee Gees, Inside & Out. It's so catchy. It's off Let It Die, if you have it. :)
