At first I thought that was toilet paper, and then I realized it's ice.

There are some really pretty other pictures of the ice. I'd post them here but I don't feel like uploading them. Maybe I'll send through AIM.

Well, I thought it was frozen toilet paper...

^_^; no, just really cool ice formations. The wind was apparently so forceful that it pushed the ice to form slanted. There are other pictures I have of like, benches and bridges with the same thing, I just thought this one was prettier.

Wow, that's pretty. Actually, I saw something really similar in Troy. It suddenly snowed in the middle of like April (that's MI for ya). Anyway, it inspired me to write a poem. I'll send it to you if you ask for it.

Do it! I'd love to read it :)

Actually, this ice is from like Norway or something. I definitely couldn't take a picture that nice. I should post a picture of the cars and the bridge and stuff, so that people stop thinking it's frozen toilet paper. :x

The poem: Cold Beauty string_alchemy January 22 2006, 07:48:21 UTC
Here's my poem:
-----
Cold Beauty

Winter yields not, even to spring’s domain;
It lingers yet, though its powers wane.
The air is chilled in one last breath.
What irony! As cold meets its death.

Winter cries its tears of icy rain;
Its sorrow clings to roofs in vain,
Its mark binds to branch and tree.
What now remains is cold beauty.

The world is frozen once more;
And all is crystal ice like before.
It blooms white like flowers of cold,
Seeming alive but not, delicate yet bold.

The winds make it crackle and chime,
Succumbing it at last to the cycles of time.
Spring gains strength while winter has none.
Icy flowers melt, as cold beauty is undone.

I've other poems that can be seen on: http://www.geocities.com/trebla_5/poetry.html. I haven't updated in a LONG time though . . . so that's only like a third of my poems.

That's a really pretty photo. Why can't I take pretty photos?

I know, me too :( I have a lot of pictures of this ice phenomenon from Norway, but I thought this was the prettiest. I wish I could take pictures like this.

Also, my camera died, so I wish I could take pictures at all.

Wait, didn't you just get a new camera? Or did I make that up.
