Friday night my mom and I went to a Rufus Wainwright concert.  He was fabulous, just as I expected him to be.

Martha (his sister) opened for him.  She actually started about five minutes early and played for a total of 35 minutes.  She was so cute and sang beautifully.  She was funny too and made jokes about how depressing her songs are.  The

Thanks for offering to do that! If you do come across her album that would be wonderful if you could let me know. I'm actually a member of that community too, so I can look there myself whenever I get around to it. There's a couple of other places I can look for the CD too, but I have a feeling it will be hard to find.

Wow! It must have been a great show, despite the less than ideal locale. I just wish I didn't live so far away from any of the tour's stops -- not only would I be able to finally see Rufus live, but the Piaf covers album? Sounds faaabulous!

You're welcome! That's too bad that you're too far away. I'm lucky that I live by a big city, so a lot of my favorite artists stop by when they're on tour. I hope you get to see Rufus one day!
