Last year my friend actually found valentines with that on it and it pretty much made my year. I think I actually still have it too.
I just remember in 1st year I wrote a mass comm paper about the simpsons and basically how at any given point and time there is at least one person watching the show.
I would totally buy that valentine if I ever saw it in a store.
Whoa, that's a very interesting fact, but I can't say that I'm really surprised by it. The show has been on for such a long time and it airs in a bunch of different countries. When I was in Spain, the family I stayed with watched it often. It was weird to hear it in a different language.
Yeah it's one of those weird things that you don't really think about it but it's pretty much syndicated everywhere now.
It's odd cause half the channels I get are French so I'll watch in in French sometimes and their voices are really off and for some odd reason all really deep.
I haven't watched The Simpsons in years either, but this is one of the episodes that I remember really well. Actually the other day someone actually quoted "I choo-choo-choose you!" And then asked me where that quote was from, as if I didn't know.
I think part of the reason I remember this one well is because I ended up feeling so sad for poor Ralph Wiggum. I can't even imagine how many people would recognize "I choo-choo-choose you!" I'm sure it's a lot. The Simpsons are everywhere.
