I saw them on the Today show this morning, and Meredith Vieira said every one of the kids' names. When she got to Jinger, she mispronounced it, and I busted out laughing. She said it like it rhymed with "finger."

I looked in at the TWoP Dugger thread a couple of times. It was always good for a laugh, but I must have missed all of the juicy gossip. I heard about the abortion rallies, but nothing about Oprah or Josh. I loved how everyone talked about saving Jinger.

I'm really curious to see how these children turn out. I'm guessing there will be a few crazies, some who decide to be just like mom and dad, and hopefully, a couple who will ditch their parents' lifestyle and disconnect from the family.

If I remember the Oprah stuff correctly two of the girls (the eldest) mentioned that they wanted to become midwives. Oprah tried to give them classes and stuff, and the Duggars passed. Nice.

The Josh stuff involved "sin in the camp", which could be anything from masturbating to child molestation (on the other kids. Seriously.).

Heh, turning down Oprah. Since the mom home schools the kids, I'm sure she wants to be the one to "teach" the girls about being midwives. Even though she's not a midwife, she probably feels qualified after giving birth so many damn times.

When the parents announced to the kids that they were having another baby, Josh looked absolutely shocked. Why he was shocked, I don't know, but it was funny. I really hope that his sin wasn't child molestation. Ugh, that would be horrible. Because they're so religious, I'm hoping that they overreacted and it was something stupid like masturbation.

It would be insane to have a family that big. I feel really bad for the Duggar children. The parents always make the older kids take care of the younger ones. And all of the girls have to do the household chores. It was the parents' decision to have so many children, but they push all the work off onto the kids. It's really not fair to them. I'm sure they'll have more kids too. They claim that it is up to the Lord to determine how many kids they have.

The Duggars have had a couple of specials air on TLC. I know there will be a new one airing in a couple of months. TLC will probably repeat the old specials sometime soon, so if you're really curious about them, you should watch them.

The parents make me so angry. I'm sure they'll have a couple of more kids too, so they'll continue to stay in the news for many more years. Television Without Pity used to have a thread about the Duggars and people absolutely hated them. It was one of the few times when the hatred from TWoP posters was kind of justified.
