Round 1 - Challenge 2
Challenge 2 of Round 1 is 'Velvet Revolver'!
As it's Christmas next week, I'm going to make this challenge a bit different. It'll give you a chance to get a headstart on points and allow you two weeks to get your entries in. :)
Please read the rules for this challenge carefully, as they differ a little from usual.
You can enter 1 set (4 icons) for this challenge and the deadline for all entries is Saturday 3rd January 2009 at midnight EST.
Your challenge this week is Velvet Revolver. :)
You may only use the photos below for this challenge. You must choose 1 photo from the selection below and make a set of 4 icons from it which must include:
(i)1 greyscale icon
(ii)1 icon showing rotation of the image
(iii)1 icon showing image duplication
(iv)1 icon freestyle icon (you can get as creative as you wish)
N.B Each of the icons must be cropped differently!
Credit for the photos to music_photobook

~You may only submit 1 set of icons. (4 in total)
~No animation allowed.
~You MAY NOT blend photos for this one - you can only use 1 of the photos.
~Icons must fit LJ standards, i.e. 100x100, less than 40kb & JPG or PNG format.
~All icons submitted must not have been made previously for other contests & must be your own work.
~You ARE allowed to use brushes, textures, etc in your freestyle icon.
~Do not post/use the icons anywhere else until the voting is over.
~Post your entries as a comment to the challenge post in this format:
