Fuck shit shit. Current fire threats to Warburton and Tecoma/Belgrave. Only 6km from Warburton now. Belgrave South Narre Warren East and Selby in the path of the other blaze with a southerly wind change on the way. DDD ( Read more... )

Yeah i know, my eloquence really comes out at times like these. :P

what i want to know is why we have a string of fires along the Daylesford-Trentham road. That sounds rather suspicious to me!

Re YOU & the in-area fires. I want to hear from YOU "yes, we have the [animals]... in, we are packed and ready and listening to updates, we have a route mapped out for escape and we have hoses and buckets and mops and [sprinklers] ready in case we get caught". Yes?

Hey! I tried to call you last night! :) Talk in a bit tonight, yeah?

And yep, am monitoring the situation. Fire front is at Coomera/Wheatsheaf atm, that's about 35km south of us. Strong winds tho, so... i'm just thinking about going out to the archery club and bringing my bow home.

And yes, Tris and Sunny are in and we are replete with buckets, mops, hoses and spray-paks! :)
