Last night I went out with my family and saw Invictus, that new Morgan Freeman & Matt Damon movie about South African rugby. I was kind of 'meh' about it originally, since I had no idea what it was about or anything, but it actually turned out to be remarkably good. I think Morgan Freeman made a really good Nelson Mandela, and the soundtrack was

What's the Roxy? I don't think we have that restaurant chain (?) on the east coast.

It's not a chain, just one restaurant in downtown Portland. It's extremely cool, though-it's open all night, so it's a good hangout for people who are out late. And because it's located in the area of Portland that has a high concentration of gay clubs and bars, you get a lot of gay/transgender people in there, with the occasional drag queen and porn star. It's excellent.
