My gawd, where I'm from "queer", "gay" and "fag" are thrown around like "is" or "the". It's sickening! Most of them don't even know what those words mean!

My mom of all people even used faggot when I was no more than a chair away from her! I wanted to scream at her but unfortunately couldn't. However I had no problem giving her a dirty look.

But thank you so much, I'm glad I'm not the only one enraged by the misuse of this word. It truly is a hateful and disgusting word. Luckily our school has started cracking down on its usage but there's always gonna be the idiot who goes against the herd and thinks its funny to keep saying it.
