I remember when I dropped off my first child at day care. I cried as I drove away. I can completely empathize with moms that find it difficult to put their kids into child care. One good thing is child care standards are so much higher than they have ever been in regards to cleanliness, background checks, curriculum, etc. With all that being said, I know there is no way I could put our daughter in child care. As tough as it is living on one budget, I just couldn't do it. Her high needs wouldn't allow us to anyway, but I just don't see it happening in our future anytime soon. My mom babysits every now and again and that's hard enough for me haha.

I'm happy Owen's last day was much easier on him. He will definitely get used to it and make friends :)

Happy Belated Birthday!!! Caroline just started pre-school and if she had cried the whole time I was gone, it would have broken my heart. She, of course, had a blast and wants to go every day...

Owen is so darn adorable! I think once he has more time to get used to things, he'll do just fine.
