We've been wandering around the temples of Angkor for the past two days. It's absolutely mind blowing that they were built 900 - 1000 years ago!!!!!! They're so beautiful and almost overwhelming at times. Oh Vietnam, you were so good to us. Laos is GREAT!! We've been in Luang Prabang for a couple of days now and just loving the relaxed vibe. There's this wicked restaurant/bar called Utopia which is all garden and games and tables set amongst the greenery and a whole area of bamboo floor and roof with mats and pillows that looks out (and hovers over) the river. The trek was AMAZING.

They probably should have warned us that the 3 hours per day of walking was actually heavy duty hiking up an incredibly steep mountain. Minor details.
