Turns out beautiful American went to Yale, then taught grade 6 math and science in Harlem, now he's taking two years off to travel (he's about 15 months in), and when he returns he's moving to Boston and going to Harvard. What the?!?!  He's gorgeous, sweet, interesting, totally modest, obviously loaded... How does any one person get to be so damned

Lord that sounds like just about the least pleasant food poisoning experience ever! You poor thing. And sadly life is rarely black and white enough, damn all those shades of grey. Personally I think sitting back and not making any decisions is the smartest thing you can do. When I look back in life it's when I've acted rashly that I tend to regret. If you don't know what the right choice is, don't make any choices yet. Eventually the right direction for you will become apparent one way or the other. We hope. :)
