The Hindenberg had a smoking room.  Seriously.  It was right next to the bar.

All of this is in aid of research on Lost Things, the between-the-wars occult thriller I'm working on with Jo Graham.  We've completed about 70,000 words so far, and I'm busily trying to figure out how to sabotage an airship.
