I'm not sure if Mighty Good Road is the oldest book in this summer's LGBT+ Storybundle, but it's close: it was published in 1990, the last book I published with Baen. (Don't get me wrong, Baen didn't drop me because of queer content - or anything else, for that matter. I'd had a good run with Baen, but they weren't willing to match Tor's offer on ( Read more... )

Not apropos of this post but just because this is the most recent! I love the Points series and am starting to work my way through some of your other books. I just tried to subscribe with Patreon using Paypal but it rejects my form because it doesn't have a "valid" address, which seems to be because I can't enter a state because I live in England!
I was going for the 2 dollar option but was going to say dont worry about the card, lovely thought but the postage to the UK would probably cost a year's subscription!
Is there any way I can subscribe? I live in hope, I love the idea of snippets of Points! Thanks for all the pleasure you give me, I am just finishing reading the whole series again, now that the new one is out.

Wow, I'm sorry Patreon was giving you trouble! I know I have subscribers from England, but don't know exactly how they've got their accounts set up (and don't know any of them well enough to ask for those details). You've probably already tried this, but it looks as though telling Patreon the country involved makes the difference? You might also be able to sign up for the $1 tier without an address? I'd love to be able to share the bits and pieces. (And if you do manage to sign up at the $2 level, I'm happy to send the card - it's not nearly as expensive as you might think!)

Thanks for the suggestion, Melissa. I did aage to subscribe for the one dollar option, sorry it isn't more!
I have just read a couple, love the one about the tea blend, especially as I have just been searching online for a particular tea blend I wanted! (Yes, I found it, thanks - ginger and peach....).
It feels very privileged to be able to read these snippets, thank you!

Awesome! Glad you were able to subscribe! (As I've said on Patreon before, every single pledge literally buys me writing time, so I'm very grateful to everyone who's joined.)

I'm delighted to have an audience! :-) These are sketches that would get done anyway, as part of preparation for the next book/books down the line (and sometimes just for my own amusement) and it's nice to be able to share them.
