Shore Leave was a blast, not least because of the number of folks I met from LJ. It was also a very busy con. Not only was I on a ton of panels, but there were a ton of panels I wanted to see, actors I wanted to hear, friends to touch base with, and the masquerade. Sanctuary is just awesome. It's up there with my all-time favorite scifi shows, but Helen Magnus is DEFINITELY my favorite scifi character. I never thought anyone would edge out Sam Carter, but if anyone could do it. ;D

Sounds like a great time! And geez, the sleeping guy. Bizarre people everywhere you go, I guess!

Oh, mine, too! Helen is amazing, not at all the sort of person you see on television, never mind in SF in general. I can never decide whether I'm in love with her or if I want to be her....

I know, the Sleeping Man... Some people are just odd!

Thank you so much! I am indeed having a glorious time. It is so wonderful to be surrounded by awesome creative people who love many of the same things I love, and who are entirely unabashed about both feeling and sharing that love. It's always restorative for me (emotionally / spiritually) even though I know I will come home physically exhausted. :-)

I really enjoyed the con and bumping into you and Jo at the 3rd floor elevators Fri afternoon. And I enjoyed our talk about the Legacy series while waiting for the elevators as well. I hope more SGA and SG1 books will be coming out as soon as MGM makes up their mind to continue on with the books.
