Omigosh, how did I miss this earlier? I love Eslingen and Rathe both, and I LOVE the extra insight into their journey from book 1 to book 2. Thank you for sharing it, and I can't wait for more!

Thank you! You can credit Steve Berman at Lethe Press for this one - he twisted my arm just a little to get me to write the courtship story. Not that he had to twist very hard! :-)
