next winter pull the battery and tend it all winter inside. if you leave it outside and let it freeze it will die. like people do.. and other things. that live.. yah know..

but it's AGM, and it's good to -40 [Odyssey PC680MJ-P]. we hardly even went subzero this winter

Did you check the fuses and / or fusible links? When my old bike died in a similar manner it was a single fuse that was the culprit.

fuses are all good.

charging the battery off the bike now, to see if it [somehow magically] has a different result. They've already agreed to RMA and test it for me.

And since I have ALL the plastics off for the moment, I'll probably go through and do most of the other stuff I need to deal with before I button it back up again.

A charging system? On an Italian bike?!

You're supposed to park it where it can be unbelievably chic; Italian batteries collect power from positive female attention.

you own a duc. they eat batteries. get used to it. keep it on a battery tender whenever you are not on it. that is about the only solution.
