Peryl Fan Fiction!!!! ch. 1
Hi! This is my first fan fic, so please read and enjoy!!!! Sorry this one is kinda short!
BEEP BEEP BEEP!!! Meryl turned over and hit her alarm clock. Don was lying in bed next to her sound asleep. " Honey wake up" " I have to get up and finish packing my flight leaves in a few hours." Don rolled over and looked at his beautiful wife " Ok, if you must, I'm really going to miss you" I'll miss you too, meryl said. She leaned over and kissed him. "Just think I'll be coming out to visit you on set in a few weeks" " Yes, and I look forward to that she giggled" Meryl was scheduled to start filiming her new movie in London and had to be there today.
Meryl got up and took a shower, Mamma Mia had been out on DVD for months now and she was overjoyed about it's success! It had landed her a ton of new roles. She blow dryied her blonde hair and pulled the top half of it up, she put on a pair of form fitting jeans and a low cut black shirt and heels.
While packing she started humming Dancing Queen quietly to herself. It had been a long time since being on that beautiful greek island. She kept in touch with Julie and Christine, but not Pierce. She had been thinking about him a lot recently. With everyone talking about their chemestry in the movie and how good they looked together on screen it had gotten her to thinking...her thoughts turned to him now, all the fun they had had on the set, the laughter the jokes, the friendship... "Honey" Don appeared in their bedroom doorway shaking her from her thoughts. Huh oh yes sweetie what is it? The car is here to pick you up and if you don't leave now your going to miss your flight. Oh RIght!!!
Don helped her load her things in the car and then she kissed him goodbye and off she went.
On the way to the airport Meryl got a call from her PA " Meryl I just thought you should know that there has been a slight cast change for the movie" Kori said. What do you mean a casting change Kori? "Well Nicholas Cage has gotten pretty sick and he's going to be fine but he's dropped out of the project so that filming could resume as planned" "Well then who is taking his place a the leading male?" Meryl asked " This was last minute as you know but it turns out Pierce Brosnan will be playing your love interst now" Meryl's heart started pounding and she had absolutly no idea why "Thanks for the heads up Kori. It'll be fun getting to work with Pierce again!" Meryl hung up her phone as they arrived at the airport.
She was in a daze going through baggage and security she barely noticed when she sat down in her 1st class seat. She was going to get to work with Pierce again Her stomache felt like it had butterflies in it. "Why do I feel like this" "it's like I'm nervous or something" Her flight took off and since she'd gotten up early she was still rather tired. She fell asleep about 30 min into the flight, still thinking about her new film ans what it was going to be like to work with Pierce again. She was very excited, to say the least. She dreamnt of being on the greek island again with Pierce and singing and laughing with him.
She stepped off the plane and her luggage was retrieved and she was drivin to her hotel. She had a meeting to go to after checking in. She had to talk with Director Mike Nichols about what scene they would be shooting first and finish getting all of the details hammered out. She opened the door to her suite, and had her luggage put on the bed for the time being.
She turned her phone back on and saw that she had 3 messages one from Don, one from her PA reminding her what time the meeting was and one from a number she didn't recognize.
Hi Meryl it's Pierce I just wanted to say how excited I am to be working with you on this project. I was wondering if after the meeting you wanted to go get something to eat so that we can catch up.
Meryl stored his number to her blackberry and then simply replied I'd love to, sounds fun
She then messaged Kori asking what time her car would be here. She said about half an hour so Meryl went into the bathroom to freshin up before the meetinf.
She looked at what she was wearing and decided her low cut Black shirt and form fitting jeans were fine. She redid her hair leaving all of it down this time, reapplied mascara and foundation. She never wore much make up. She stared at the blonde haired blue eyed beauty in the mirror and she was beautiful. If you didn't know you would neve guess she was 59 and had 4 children. Meryl considered herself average looking even though Everyone told her she was beautiful all the time. Meryl decided she looked fine and went down to meet her car.
She stepped inside and she remembered she needed to call Don. She told him she had arrived safetly, was on the way to the meeting and about the last minute casting change. She told him she loved him and got off the phone as the driver pulled up to the building where the meeting was being held. Suddenly excitment consumed her. She was about to see Pierce for the 1st time in months and she realized she had missed him, and for some reason she could not comprehend she hoped he had missed her too...
