Hahaha - but see, the point of the story is that she makes the choice. So, it DID end. She chose. It wasn't about consequences this time. Just the stepping off the cliff part. (Maybe I'm strongly identifying with this because it's sort of like getting a book published. Hehe.)

Oh, I totally agree that it was the right place to end, short-story-wise, but that doesn't mean the reader doesn't still want to know what happens!! (TEASE. :P)
