Oh this is beautiful! And so so sad at the same time, it gives you a very bittersweet sort of feeling even though Merlin is smiling. I love the colours you've used and...and Merlin's butterfly!!
Thank you so much! ♥ Oh dear, I'm very glad the word 'bittersweet' came to your mind because that's really what I was going for. I love angst a unhealthy lot but too much of it is just masochism I guess, so bittersweet is very much my thing.
I'm thrilled you like it, thank you for your kind words! :)
Gosh don't ever apologize to me for rambling, I adore long comments like nothing else <33 And it makes perfect sense, that's very much what I was going for here, the end to me is heartbreaking but also hopeful, because of the promise that Arthur will rise again. I'm very glad you can see all that in my drawing :) Thank you kindly! ♥
Naw thank you tons! <3 I'm very happy you like my style, and watercolors are both totally evil and wonderful. :P (but I love them way too much to ever stop using them)
Thank you so much! ♥ One thing I really enjoy about traditional art is that I have a limited amount of colors that I'm familiar with and I know which ones go well together. Though sometimes I'm frustrated because I can't seem to achieve the specific tone I want with what I have haha. I'm very glad you like it :)
