This was absolutely beautiful! I finished reading this half an hour ago and I've just been staring at the screen ever since (also I've been crying) trying to come up with the words to express how amazing this was, how utterly wonderful the characterization was, and how much I loved that you showed their emotions and let their actions speak for them rather than telling what's on their minds. But I just don't think I will ever be able to come up with any words to convey how stunning this story is. I loved this to bits ♥

The atmosphere and characterisation and h/c was PERFECTION. What a great read!!

LOVE THIS!!!! I adore h/c, but I also loved how you handled their emotions. How both Marcus and Esca are affected by his injury, how they both get depressed and uncertain. And then when they're back together, and Marcus is so worried and uncomfortable, but Esca lets him see that it's all right--*happy sigh*.
