Mainly I’m just trying to get back do doing the things I enjoy and want to do first, and let the other stuff take a backseat if it has too instead of the other way around. Otherwise even the stuff I enjoy, like traveling, going to cons and participating in my local club feel like a chore.

I think that's very wise.

I'm glad it got off to a good start. I hope the trend continues!

(TV is an evil timesuck. It's why I got rid of my TV. Now I just have to curtain my downloading. I'm up to three shows now, with another waiting to be auditioned. Ack!)

I only turned on cable about a month ago and I'm already thinking of cutting it off. Sunday was a rarity for me. Usually my time suck is the internet... just random link-surfing about nothing.

What shows do you watch? (Besides Criminal Minds, I know I've seen you post about that one.) The only tv show I've watched recently was "Being Human," the first season was only six episodes but I really like it.

I also watch Project Runway (pretty much all the variations except Catwalk which I found too trashy [yeah, I know, talking about reality TV as trashy]) and Castle (which I checked out on a whim and stayed for the Beckett mmmmm… Beckett). The one that's trying to get my attention is Flashpoint, but it's brand new, so there's only an episode (maybe two) out.

If you want recommendations (evil), check out Being Erica. I kind of wanted it to work for me because it doesn't hide the fact that it takes place in Toronto (a lot of things film here, but very few take place here). Unfortunately, it was hitting too many of my "ohnononono" buttons. You could see Toronto, though…

My mother has become a recent fan of Castle, and I've watched a few episodes with her and liked it. I used to watch the Project Runway marathons when they were on Bravo. I really enjoyed the show. I'm not into fashion, but I love to see the creative solutions to the challenges. I totally can't keep up with it now that it's on lifetime though. I can never remember when it's on. I only kept up with it on bravo because every weekend it seemed they were running either a top chef or project runway marathon. I'll have to check out Being Erica.
