What a Day! NYAF & House

I feel like I lived a whole week today! It actually started on Sunday night when Mindy messaged me for details on our booth at the 2008 New York Anime Festival. Since it's coming up this weekend she thought we might want to firm up our plans. I've been so distracted with my house purchase that I haven't been paying too much attention to it. Yeah, it's just a bizarre situation all together. I really don't know what to make of it. The home inspector couldn't be nicer and more polite, so I really don't think he has any fault in it. But it was like homeowner lady just had her crazy switch flipped. We haven't had any previous issues with her.

O_O "Stressful week" is putting it mildly. Glad you got the NYAF stuff sorted out, and hopefully things will turn out well with the radon test results.

I would have felt horrible if I'd screwed up the NYAF table just because I was distracted with house stuff and forgot to mail that form. I wasn't too worried about actually getting a table because they did cash my check and I was sure I could argue them into finding space for me somewhere (and the badges were never at risk). But it would have been entirely my fault if we couldn't open the table because of the tax form.

Worst case senario I would have just had to attend the con without selling stuff and eaten the cost of the table. I would have had to compensate Mindy for the stuff she made too, because that's only fair since it would have been a big loss for her too. I was so mad at myself!

Eek! House buying so scary. We're starting to save for a down payment, and I'm already nervous about the process we'll be going through in a year and a half to two years from now.
