Once again, I have not been spending enough time on this blog and other similar sites. Facebook have now become my main means of keeping in touch with friends and for posting regular updates. But I am still rather reluctant to let go of this blog, for it has a good several years of my life in it, and it doesn't matter if anyone's reading it or not ( Read more... )

Ooo haha, which one did you spot? I tried to copy from what the Sensei wrote for us on our "name cards", but some are not very clear. And I have not really gotten to know everyone's proper names yet. LOL

the one who's called ro-ri- (ローリー)? you typed it as ro-i- (ローいー) with the i being hiragana lolz. must be because handwritten い looks similar to リ to you :pp

Thanks for pointing that out! :)

Yeah I'm still trying to get used to and memorise the characters, and it didn't help that I edited the photos in a hurry. I appreciate your help in going through the pics!!

u have sakura-chan who's an expert in jap and picking up korean also if im not wrong and u have me who takes thai wat..
diaoz..
but i think for those classes outside generally girls have more free time to go for such classes...or rather they choose to use their free time to go for such classes and men dun..

anyway any help refer to sakura-chan!

I do know many guy friends who are interested in learning languages, but not many actually went ahead to do it. I'm interested in learning Thai too, so might look for you next! Will see how this Jap class works for me and vice versa first... LOL

And perhaps you're right, maybe girls are more willing to sacrifice their free time for this than guys. LOL

haha sure sure..
will help definitely =)

and yar..
generally i guess to guys more practical things/lessons to them would be like diploma or another degree/masters rather than another language...hence the general low numbers in language classes...it doesnt seem value-adding to their work in that sense..
