situation comedy...
It's been a long week so far, and yesterday, I was fully occupied with a new film job: an episode for a new TV sitcom...
Although I must say I am not really a fan of local sitcoms, it was rather fun to be in them...
One thing I have learned, is that the actors themselves need not be funny, or try to act funnily, as long as the situations they find themselves in are funny...
And working with Gurmit again is really fun, because he IS damn funny both on and off camera...
The other actors are fun people too, and everyone seemed to get along pretty well despite the long hours...
Okay, you can tell I had fun during the shoot: I'd used the word in every sentence...
I'd only had one prior experience filming a sitcom episode (that was "Living With Lydia 3" years ago), but had never "talked" so much in an episode before this...
I had to memorise many new additional or amended dialogue on the spot, and I made some blunders here and there...
Thankfully, we had good speed and completed the shoot before the slated time. Yayness!
