Cliched as it may sound, the Angels are all around us. Guiding us in their subtle ways, helping us out of difficult situations, and most importantly, make us feel the power of Love...

For those who have a hard time believing in spirits and fairies, the Angels come to us in the guises that we could relate to without fear...

And the best part is that they are always with us too, even if we don't believe... :P

Thanks!

I never grew up on R&B, not do I come from that kinda background, so it would sound very fake if I were to do it that way...

My early influences were ballads, folk, Xinyao, and choral, and I suppose it's pretty obvious from my singing style eh... LOL

There are many Chinese artistes who'd failed in their attempts at R&B, simply because they didn't live in that kind of environment. They mostly copy that particular style, adding lots of vocal gymnastics with no feeling. I've tried too, but ended up sounding unnatural...

OTOH, I am pretty proud of the local Xinyao folk style, and I am pretty old-fashioned too, so it kinda shows rather obviously in my singing style heh... :P

Wooohooo!! At last you tried this song!!
I love this song la!
Well, again, your harmonies supported this song a lot! Sounds more interesting..
And the sound effects are quite well too.
But feel a bit like "qian1 li3 zhi1 wai4"... Most of the parts your pronunciations are too clear.. In my point of view, might not be very suitable for this song. Dont know la, that's my point of view. And, some intonations are sound too old, like singing "lao3 ge1"
But i like your pitching!! :)
good try!! :D

Haha thanks for your comments too! Hmm... about pronouncing too clearly... would you rather not know what I was singing about? ;)

I am not that young anymore, so no point hiding the fact that my voice does not belong to the "pop" category...

At least I wasn't copying the original singer's style, but did it my own way... :)

yeayea, i agree, what i actually wanna say is you have different style.
As i hv listened to the original version too many times, and kinda "xian1 ru4 wei2 zhu3",(cos i am still not professional enough to rate different kind of singing style.), that's what i felt after 1st time listening to your version. :)

That said, it's quite a challenge singing a different style AND using the original singer's music track though... wish I could record my own minus-ones too, then I can use a different music arrangement altogether...

There are guardian angels which you are aware of, there are guardian angels which you'll never knew existed...but most importantly, this one guardian angel comes in the form of "Hope" ;)

Hope is indeed the lifeline that saves us from jumping over the edge...
