I've always liked the idea, because it does seem like something they would do. I once read a fanfiction on teaspoon where Donna refused to be married to the Doctor and hijinks ensued, after which he explained that it doesn't mean anything and he's gotten married to all of these different companions numerous times. She then slapped him for "Marrying Rose times. And never once meaning it!" Wish I could find that again, actually.

Hee, I like the idea of them just getting married multiple times, and I especially love the end with Rose's ice cream suggestion. It's the sort of thing I can totally imagine her saying and doing.
