This is my journal for reading & writing fanfic. I started off reading Harry Potter fanfic in 2003. Since then I've read The West Wing, MASH, the Whedonverse, etc.

My main fandoms recently have been Supernatural & the small-but-perfectly-formed Gordon Korman fandom. I love watching Heroes, but I'm strangely disinterested in reading fic for it ( Read more... )

I'm gonna have to check Regina Spektor, because I love all the others you mentioned!

I never would have thought I would read incest!fic, and RPS? I just couldn't understand the appeal. Then, enter SPN, and I might need to go get glasses because of how much time I spend on my computer (though, to be fair, a big part of that problem goes to studying - seriously, do they have to use fonts that small?!).

If that wasn't enough, I DO fan myself and I DO squee whenever the ocassion calls for it, whcih in SPN fandom happens quite often, with the episodes, the videos, pictures, etc... of these two gods.

Just wanted to say Hi and let you know I friended you back!

And SPN is the first and only fandom I read incest in. And I kept saying I wasn't gonna touch the wincest, and then I had to go and write some on a dare. The Winchester boys are just too damn hot!

I did read RPS in LotR fandom, actually, when I first stumbled onto LJ forever ago, but SPN is the first fandom I wrote RPS in (J2, god help us all, those two are so pretty and so in love and one day their public antics may make a million fangirl hearts explode!). SPN is a very corrupting type of fandom, even though it's nine kinds of awesome.

Sorry for the belated reply...yeah, I totally hear you on the corruption front. Sometimes I have to take a mental step back and say 'OK, I just enjoyed a J2 AU where one of them was a hooker' or 'I just devoured a long plotty fic involving teenaged gay incest'...WTF, brain???

saying hi, since you friended me. Just wondering which one of those reasons was a qualifier for my journal ;D You've never commented on my fic, but I do rec for crack_impala so maybe that was the reason? Either way, hello.

ps - this is your soopersekrit journal, so now I must figure out which is your not secret journal - - maybe I know that person?

Hello, thanks for the comment :) I think I followed a comment or post you'd made somewhere else, saw that you'd written a bunch of interesting-looking RPF stories, and friended you as someone to come back to and read. I'm hopeless at remembering where fic is, otherwise.

My normal journal is very boring and just for my RL friends, so you wouldn't know it. I'm trying to keep my embarrassing new Wincest & RPS obsessions away from there!
