I went to my Guts and Butts support group meeting today, actually called "Guts2Glory" but I have had my nickname for it longer:). I haven't been in a while and it has changed hands from CCFA to the Guts and Glory Foundation. Guts and Butts = awesome name!

I was resistant to Facebook for awhile but it's been great for connecting with folks I wouldn't otherwise have found. I'm having lunch with 5 of my best friends from high school at the end of this month and I owe it to FB. Facebook also has some neat little news and link apps that are fun.

Oh and I block all those snowball, plant, goofy applications without exception. They are a pain and don't offend anyone that I know of.

I love facebook. It's mostly old high-school friends and family on there for me. I like the IM part of it, since none of my family use the same darn IM software... I've actually been able to talk to some of them online recently, and hope to rekindle some old friendships. :)

It's good for connecting and seeing in a flash what people are up to. It doesn't ahve a blog that I know of, but the 'status updates' let you do a line of 'hey, here's what I'm doing today' kinda thing. :) And you can post pics and whatnot, of course.

I'm an unwilling fan of Facebook of late. I can't read it at work, but I can Twitter to it and I enjoy reading everyone's updates and checking out their pictures. Come on in. The water is fine.

Facebook is fun, and I have also been able to reconnect with friends. I actually got into it because one of my professors in my freshman year of college used an application from facebook as part of a project.
