This was so beautiful! I really like the way you dealt with the homophobia and violence; there was just enough problems for it to feel real, but not so many that it tipped over from flangst into total angst.
I really liked the way Merlin was determined to prove that he didn't need Arthurs protection, and the way Arthur struggled to respect his wishes.
