I posted this to the kink_meme a while ago, and it got some encouragement, but no actual fic. It occurred to me that it was more of a story prompt than just a kink one, and not one I was worried about putting my name to, so I thought I'd post it here and see if anyone would be interested ( Read more... )

that sounds a bit like something a started to write when I entered Merlin's fandom, minus the concubine part. It's currently lying on my files untouched.

Since I am Not A Writer, I always like to encourage people who are. I'm sure they are many of us who'd love to read your story, if you do have time to finish it. :-)

I've got a story on the back burner that I've been playing with for several months that's quite similar to the second option, wherein select sorcerers (the most powerful/power hungry/biddable/whatever) are trained as bodyguards for people who hunt other sorcerers (i.e. Arthur), and Merlin is Arthur's. I can't promise a release date, at present, because of other projects and commitments, but I hope that, once it's written, you enjoy it. (And, yes, it will be a M/A story.)

I've actually never seen it... lol It was getting popular around the time I was getting out of anime; I had a few shows that I loved and followed religiously, but I wasn't really trying anything new.

Dug this bunny up just so I could comment :P

I'll have you know that I've never read/watch/had anything to do with SGA before I saw this bunny. Your bunny got me to read the fic and now I'm reading SGA fics like rabbits breeding. Heh.

I really hope someone does this fic. I'd totally have a crack at it but I still have several that I'll said I'll get around to but haven't quite gotten there yet. With the attention span of a fandom butterfly, by the time I get to it I'll probably be in another fandom D: /hops off

I still love John and Rodney, so it's good to hear that I've prompted someone else to fall for them as well.

I'm not holding out much hope at the moment that someone will pick it up, but you never know.
