Bertha danced down the corridor and, on seeing Amelia stood outside the common room,shouted and ran towards her friend and hugged her happily,
"Ameeeeeelia! Let's go quickly!"
She hooked Amelia's elbow in hers and steared her towards the stairs.

Amelia pranced down the stairs, arm still hooked in Bertha's.
"You know, Eddie told me I was boring," She moaned, "I'm not boring, am I?" She turned her head to Bertha, "Even if I am, he has no room to talk, threatening to lock me in a dungeon." She snorted indignantly.

Bertha poked Amelia's cheek.
"Of course you aren't boring! You know I don't like boring things and I love you, Amelia!"
She announced.

She gave a sharp nod in Bertha's direction, "Thank you," She skipped over to the door and pushed it open, stepping outside.
