locations for ep 405 His Father's Son

Gosh! That was fun and involving in all the right measures, plus there was some more interesting locations work here!

♦ I keep mentioning (fairly lamely) the Brecon Beacons, but I doubt I'm ever going to be able to really pin these scenes down. The opening scene with the 'knight' running from the Bad Guys looks very much like somewhere around there - or perhaps a little further south. The combination of thickly planted forest and the open moors looks rather like the hills surrounding Pontsticill Reservoir. The cliff around which the two kingdoms' forces gather should give us something a bit more specific to look for!

♦ And Arthur learned from the ambush by Borden last week, and instead ambushed Carleon and his men. I'm still assuming Puzzlewood - and of course the scene with Morgana casting the spell on the sword looked very much like, too.

♦ Otherwise, I'm going to tentatively cry Chepstow Castle again! The scene where Morgana is sneaking in to visit Queen Annis, and is detained by two guards, looked to me very much like this walkway along the walls at Chepstow.
